My Ultra is used for second guitarists in my studio (I use a II) and it sounds great. Far better than the RCF 310 or Verve 12ma that I was using back when the Ultra was my only box.

A CLR will make your Ultra sound as good as it possibly can (which is pretty darn good!) There's no downside to having an extremely accurate and versatile speaker system, IMHO.
