Any news on the expansion module for the MFC?

I assumed that the "expansion module" referenced by the MFC relative to its connector port was the Axe-FX II.

I hope not... I am interested in the expansion module because that gets me much closer to the FX-1 I am using today but with a boat load of new (and exciting) features.

Wouldn't the MFC need 2 Ethernet inputs if it's connected to Axe II and an expander?

That's one of the first things I noticed when I got my Axe II and MFC. Seemed like a design flaw. Like the port shouldn't be called Expander anymore.

I believe Cliff at some point said the MFC would connect to the expander, which would then connect to the Axe.
