any Idea for that advanced 4C-Method w/d/w

I work with an Head with serial/parallel Loop and one cabinet at the moment.
Using the classical 4C.
Now i want to use a second Stereopoweramp and two cabs for an w/d/w system.

My problem is:

How to plug the cables using some FX Blocks before the preamp like before but then,
after the [FX-Loop] let the Mainamp dry and sent the wet FX which comes after the
[FX-Loop] goes not back to the Mainamp but to the 2.Amp in stereo with the Post-FX..

Guitar>AXE-Input1>Output2>AMP FX-return
Amp FX-Sent to Input2 of the Axe
Output1 stereo to poweramp

Where is my Input in Mainamp?

Does your amp have a line level out (other than the fx send)? Or do you have a THD Hotplate?

BOTH :)

That Amp is an Egnater TOL100, has an Linelevel out, but i think that is located after the loop,
i´m not sure....
I have not an Hotplate (cause they suck the tone IMO) - but an Marshall SE100, big and heavy but great - i think know what you mean....but is there a way without?

OK, either with the Line Level out (or the THD - you don't need to use the attenuation) send the signal back to the Axe-fx (into input 2).

So

guitar->in axe input 1-> out Axe output 2-> in Amp main in-> out Amp lineout->In Axe input 2

Axe-fx output 2 is your wet. The amp will have the dry signal.

Hi Java, ?, how can the Axe output 2 be Amp main in AND the wet? Do you mean output 1 is the wet and will got to the 2. poweramp?
If so, i didn´t need the FX LOOP of the Amp

Sorry I meant output 1. Out put 1 will go to power amp. right you don't need the fx loop of the amp.

ok, thx.

I will say now with Bruce Egnaters mouth: "That´s pretty cool" :)

So in that case i COULD also go from output 1 to the FX Return of the main Amp
in case i "forget" the 2. amp/wet cabinets?! In THAT case i just can decide to go
with small or big setup using the same patches....can you confirm that java..?

thx

In that case you would want to use the fx loop snd and return rather than the line out (you would be running thru the poweramp of your main amp 2x thru the line out).

I will test that in both configuration and post the results later...thx again
