Any Axe-Fx III users with a Whammy DT?

I love the Whammy DT and to me it provides the best pitch shifting around. Unfortunately the Axe FX II doesn't come close in comparison. A lot of posts on here have suggested that Axe FX III has improved pitch shifting capabilities. Has anyone tried to compare it with a whammy pedal? It's the one thing holding me back from going full-Fractal.
 
There is a post on it somewhere here with a comparison, I believe. I have a Digitech drop pedal and I compared it with the drop feature on the Axe III. Needless to say, I don't need the drop pedal anymore.
