Antithesis - s2.0, Oni 8-string, Hartung 6-string, Warwick, Diezel+RW Uberkab R121

Very nice work. Guitars sound great ( and played great) w/ all the other great sounding/played instruments. I like the song. Congrats.

I like the tones although the song is a bit over the top. Nice low end on the guitar. If you had more mids it would be easier to hear the notes on the guitar but this is just a taste issue. You guys sure listen to DT a lot. I'd have the synth parts a lot lower in the mix. It gives the illusion of guitar amps being quiet and you don't want that. ;) Other than that it's good.

I had to re-listen to this because the first time I was thinking, "Where the heck is all the bass? There's virtually no kick at all... I thought these were 8-strings, weird." and then I realized I had my bass dialed down to 0. I think the guitar tones are great, especially the lead tone.

As far as the song is concerned, I dig what you're going for, but I think there needs to be more dynamic contrast in the changes. For instance, when everything hits at 1:00, it should be BANG HERE WE ARE, but as it sits it just sounds like it added another instrument. I'm no mixing specialist, so I don't know how to fix it. I just think it should pop right there instead of the lackadaisical manner in which it the change happens. I really like 3:20 - 3:27. It has this really cool chainsaw meets synth sound to it.
