Another noob question.......custom presets farting out

Every time I try to create a preset from scratch as soon as I get the volume going my monitors and headphones start to fart out. I know im doing something wrong because if I use an existing preset to create a patch it sounds beautiful.

For example if I take an existing preset and change the amp, cabs and effects it sounds great.....however when I create the same exact patch from scratch my monitors fart out and the patch sounds super harsh:cry....could it be something with the leveling? I have no idea what im doing wrong because Ive looked at all the settings and they appear to be the same. Any ideas?

Use the meters on the utility page to make sure you aren't clipping anything.

Are your patches louder than the presets? Anyway to record the sound coming from your monitors of the different preset types with your phone or video can and put it on YouTube or soundcloud?
