I'm not very fond of IR as cab sim , and i've tested with Eq .
I like the sound of an EQ more than an IR for a cab sim but i need to use 2 Eqs to achieve a good sound ( + / 12 db is not enough for the highs ).
I know , some say an Ir is more powerfull than an Eq and more precise to recreate the real sound of a guitar cab .... but with eq you have a sound closer to the sound of an amp in the room . Even if it's not like the real cab i think the most important is that it sounds good !
