Hello

Will the fx8 switch channels on an EVH5150III 100W tube head since this head does not have midi??
Crucial for me before buying this thing....

Yes , Fx8 will do it.

Use the relay outputs from the Fx8 n the amp pedal switch with a regular instrument cable...In the presets of the Fx8 you'll have to set the relay...

How do you know this? You have a link or something?
The channel switch for this amp uses a 7-DIN cable, which im guessing is causing trouble...

You need a tech to figure out wich pins from the 7 DIN output control wich chanel and make a custom cable

Im not convinced, but thanks anyway. I mean there is no description on this matter.... They should do a list of amps that is compatible for this unit....

does your amp have that?

cool. then a custom cable must be made. lots of threads on this exact topic using other similar fx units with 1/4" relay switching. just google search for evh 5150 III relay switching.
