AMP LEVEL or OUTPUT MASTER for presets?

Ok, I know this has been asked a lot, but am still curious. Is it better to adjust preset volume from the AMP block or the OUTPUT MASTER at end of chain? The reason I ask is bc all factory presets have significantly higher AMP Levels and sounds way more punchier that when I create my own presets and set my level to the -6/-12db line in the utility menu, resulting in my amp block levels being -20 to -24 sometimes! seems like a lot....

I always use amp level. The only time I use output master is to vary levels between scenes and that's only rarely.

Yup, same as above but I use the amp level to get the vu meter level centered so all my presets are fairly close. Then master for fine tuning and scene vol changes
