American Woman (Guess Who)

I have been trying to emulate Randy Bachman's lead tone on American Woman by The Guess Who, but am not having much luck. Can anyone spare a dime? LOL Would one of you experts have a preset you could share?
 
Try this. Its a Friedman HBE with a tube pre drive block in front. Pretty much what Randy did with the Herzog preamp that Gar Gillies from Garnet amps built for him . Tweak it to taste depending on your axe, neck humbuckers sound sweet. Cheers, Perry.
