Wish Alternate "TYPE" view for Reverb Block

Would be cool to have an alternate "TYPE" view that categorizes things that are related. For example, in the Reverb Block, everything is categorized alphabetically, which is great! But maybe Knob D (which currently has no function) could toggle "Alternate Type View" and then would switch the view to something like:

REVERBS
All Rooms - All rooms, Studios, Room,
All Spaces - (more specific rooms) Churches, Chambers, Tunnel, etc.
All Halls - Large hall, chorus hall, concert hall, etc etc etc
All Springs - Large/medium/small springs, deluxe spring, etc etc.
Miscellaneous - all the cloud verbs, etc.

I think the Delay Block already has a good version of this, where things are paired up by type instead of alphabetically.

Or Maybe TYPE can default to the menu already there, but then by using the Arrows and pressing D Knob you can navigate through submenus? Rooms, Halls, Springs, Plates, etc.

Bump for something simple like changing naming conventions so alphabetical list would group types automatically, e.g.

Chamber - Large, Medium, Small ...
Church - North, South
Cloud - Cirrocumulus, ...
Hall - Concert, Huge...
Plate - ...
Room - Drum, Large, ...
Shimmer - Andromeda, Aquarius, Capricorn ...
Space - ...
Spring - Deluxe Verb, ...
Studio - ...
Tunnel - ...

Most useful for reverbs as there are several pages of them.

Could also be helpful for Delays, Chorus, Flange etc.

Would not be in favor of this... Because it would reduce the usability of displaying effect names
on the mini displays on the foot controllers + FM3/FM9 (if that will be introduced some day).

Ah.

Edit: Actually many reverbs start with the size/subtype which could simply be swapped with the type (Chamber, Room, Hall, Plate, Spring...) and would be the same num of characters. If English had modifiers after nouns it would look natural.

Cloud, Shimmer, and some others are currently a single name so prefixing with type would elongate them.

Adding some sort and/or filter options to every list view on the unit would help a lot.

In reverb you could sort them by name, type (spring, plate, hall, room, other), size (small, medium, large) or character (basic, ambient, effected).

Sort/filter functions are easy to implement and adding some metadata to categorize models would not be too much work either. Of course there will be some that are "not sure which group this belongs to" but you can always just pick the closest applicable group.

Changing could be similar to how some views use one of the under the screen knobs to navigate. E.g. when in list view turn knob B to change sort type, turn knob C to change filter.

Both could live together :
- The old type parameter with all reverb types
- A new parameter called reverb family : defaulting to ALL, could have Room/Hall etc...
- A new parameter called reverb subfamily : displaying only the reverb types comforming to family

When selecting a family, subfamilies get filled
When selecting a subfamily, the corresponding type gets selected
When selecting a type, the corresponding family/subfamily could be selected
etc...
