All shared patches I load are too bright

I have the P2 and PM1 and have used the P1 as well. They’re pretty transparent, not like a $1000 level system, but clear enough. Compared to my PSM300 wireless, it’s pretty similar as well.

I think the presets are just created on one system and are playing through another that is brighter. Or the preference is just very different.
 
yeah, you've got to remove everything from the chain and then reintroduce them one at a time. if it sounds ok with regular headphones plugged straight into the axe, then your only solution would be to either eq out the brightness on the desk, or use the global eq in the axe. a lot of people make the mistake of assuming their in-ears or their PA are flat response. very few of them are.
