Adjust playback volume of looper block from the FC-12 looper layout

If I want to adjust the playback volume of the looper block from the FC12 looper layout (using two switches, Vol +/-) how can I do this?
 
A couple of possible options.??
  1. Use an expression pedal attached to the 'Playback Level' parameter. Set Min and Max to only how much you want to change it by (-6.00 dB to 0.00 dB?) Or......
  2. Put the 'Looper' in a parallel path (Dry Level at the min) with a Volume block (#4?) in that same path, just after it. Set the 4 channels of the Vol block to four different levels (-3 dB, -2 dB, -1 dB, 0 dB?). Setup two of the spare switches (FC12) in the 'Looper Layout' to 'Channel Inc / Dec' for 'Vol 4', A to D, no Wrap. One set to -1, and the other set to +1. This gives you four different 1 dB volumes that you can toggle up and down using two switches.
 
Thanks Moke. Definitely a potential work around.
The AX8 looper block has a mix section. Perhaps this could be added by Fractal at some point to the III looper block?
