Hi Folks, looking into the AX8 owners manual, the VU Meter is mentioned there (section 11 setup menus / the utility menu). So it should be there... but it isn't. Therefore I guess we are talking about a bug and not a wish

The request is for VU meters in AX8-Edit, not on they AX8 itself. Those are already there. They've just moved since the manual was written. Now they're on the last page of the main menu.

I 'm a bit late here. You can press shift then page from the foot switch page. This will take you directly to the VU Meter Page

Sampling is an interesting idea. The tuner sampling resolution is pretty low in the editor. Personally, I'd prefer peak indicators on the hardware itself over integration with AX8-Edit. But lower resolution, peak sampling could make it work.

This, please! For compressors too. Would be so helpful.
