Do you mean External Controls?

I think an Axe III preset can have 32 modifiers total. (On the II it's 12 Ext Ctrls, 24 modifiers.)

TBH, I'd like to know, too. Is it a MIDI sequencer of some sort set to micro-manage a whole bunch if stuff, are there 16 CC pedals in use, or what?
