After the embedded and standalone Fractal-Bot sends a firmware file to the modeler, it presents an alert notifying us we should pay attention to the device, at which point we can cycle the power, waiting five seconds.
I'd like to see that initial alert followed by a second alert that has a five second countdown timer. This alert could be triggered by Fractal-Bot losing communication with the modeler, which, after five seconds have elapsed, switches to an "It should be OK to power on the FM3/FX3" message, and maybe even toss in a "Welcome to n.nn firmware message", along with a scrolling window containing the firmware's readme file and a blurb describing how to test for and report bugs. Maybe an "I got it" button that is disabled until a couple seconds have passed?
Those changes would help the update process and to reduce the chaff from the grain when people update and don't have a clue how to test and report a bug.
