Acoustic Preset

Hey guys!

I'm looking for an Acoustic preset to be used with an acoustic guitar, anyone have something they use on a regular basis? I have a wedding to play next saturday, 1st gig in a few years and I have been asked to play an acoustic set and I don't have anything dialed in.

Yep, try preset "AcouSim.Acoustic", scene #2.

I use it with my Gibson J-45, with its onboard active pickup system (under saddle).

It's a simple scene.

I've been attempting to create a good acoustic guitar patch, but I cant seem to get a low noise floor.
Each patch I make has this high fizzy sound.
Using a noise gate cuts the fizz, but when I begin playing the fizz returns with yuck.
I haven't tried tone matching yet.

Foundation of my patches have the following blocks:
slight comp, PEQ, a hint of delay and reverb.
I'm using CLR's for monitor.
My guitar is Taylor 814ce with expression system.

i did an acoustic preset for the song Nutshell, and i tone matched the cd beginning, just a compressor and a tonematch block and eq at the end to boost the high end some, works well.
