Acoustic mic & pickup?

I remember way back with the Axfx I think, we could record an acoustic with a mic and combine it with the pickup. Is there anyway to do this with the ax8 or maybe the FM3.
Just saw the tonedexter. Looks cool but it's $399.

The ax8 doesn’t have tone match. You could do the matching on an axefx and import the file to your ax8 if you have access to one

You can also make the tone match in a DAW and export to IR/AX8
