Ok, well this has been a 3 week work in progress and I think I have it just about dialed in to how I want it. Thanks to all that have made suggestions in other threads and to all those who have posted clips and patches with how you run yours. You will have to pardon the playing as I have never tried to play any U2 stuff, and that will be apparent when you hear the clip. I was just going for "THAT" sound. Any suggestions are always appreciated as this patch seems to be a constant work in progress.....but I am pretty happy with it now.
Also, the Herdim picks really do make a difference in sound. The first part of the clip was using fw1.05 with some tweaks and a standard Snarling Dog pick with the grip stuff on it. I thought they would work well for the sound, but they don't come anywhere close to the sound of the Herdim. The second part is fw1.06 with the Herdim picks.
