Wish Ability to pull out effects blocks on Axe FX Patches

Not sure if this has been asked.
How about being able to pull out just the effects blocks in patches for AXE FX through the FX8 edit. Or at the minimum ability to download AXE FX edit and see patches so we can pullout the effect setting manually.
 
do you mean pulling a Block from an Axe-Fx II Preset without owning an Axe-Fx? or do you mean just saving Blocks for the gear you own?

no. you need an Axe-Fx II to pull the block files (.blk) from the presets. once you have the .blk files, those can go into Axe II, AX8 or FX8.

So I opened a preset (Axe Exchange) from the FracTool application and when you right click an effects block it asks how you would like to save. It always seems to save everything as a .syx file not a .blk file - this causes a checksum error when trying to load on the FX8. So is it incompatible....any workarounds?
