So I think what I'm asking for might be impossible and might require a fancy A\B switch but I'll ask the pros here.
I've got an A\B setup that is clean\dirty.
My clean rig right now is a single clean head. (A)
I have a "slave out" in the first head (B1 dry) which is basically a FX Send (POST) that doesn't kill the signal when used, that is running as an FX send into the FX8 and then the return is going into the FX return of the 2nd head (B2 wet), creating essentually a wet dry setup.
I set the unit to STEREO in and STEREO out.
I connected the A to R and R in the send and return on the FX8.
I connected the B to L and L in the send and return on the FX8.
Then I setup an A\B switch to go in the front of A and B1.
On B (L and L), everything works fine. On my A I'm getting stuff processed from my L signal.
I think what I've figured out is that what I'm looking for is actually "dual mono."
Alternatively, what gear should I use to switch my A\B heads and switch the loop if that is the case?
