A super handy shortcut that I always forget ...

I use that one a lot. Also pushing the "a" control knob jumps straight to amp 1 which is super handy.

It is very handy! I actually turned that feature OFF in the global menu because I couldn't get out of the habit of accidentally pressing it like an "enter" button.

With the Axe-Fx III I still feel like there must be about 10 shortcuts on every page that I don't know of. After all I've had this unit for as long as you yek and I'm still a completely noob with it. :/

I would prefer it was a toggle , to go to and BACK - from the layout screen.

I find that using the main value knob to switch to layout can cause the preset to change if you don't just hit the middle of the button...and of course any editing that you have done is then lost...so I always use the layout button when editing...

I have had this happen to me numerous times. It sucks!

Yep I discovered this accidently when I first got my Axe-Fx III and porting my patches over from the II.

Oh also this is configurable to "NONE" in Setup->Global Settings->Value Knob Push Function
