8ma tonal consistancy

I have a Yamaha hsm400 that I am currently happy with except for the weight factor, and my fbt 8ma is arriving on Tuesday, I was wondering if the 8ma changes tonally as it is pushed harder? I've heard other 8" cabs that as you pushed them, the tone changed. I don't know if this is characteristic of cab design or speaker or a bit of both. I don't play at loud levels, but was hoping the 8ma stays consistant as you push it a bit.

I know Scott and others have the 8ma and could chime in on the 8ma's consisitency.

Thanks, I was hoping that they were. Mine will be here Tuesday and should be perfect for the small stage were playing on.
