6160 rock-metal-prog... go go go!

thanx man! reamping helped me tweak the sound a little bit,

it's my first tiem with the 6160, I used to be a FAS modern and mk 2c+ lover with my standard, I must say i like the "realness" of the 6160 so far!
 
I definitely like it overall, but something about the sound of the cymbals really bothers me.


i also dont like the cymbals... I'm not sure about the snare also...

I use SD2.0 but i suck at it. lol

i may need to low pass the cymbals around 12 000hz to make them less irritating... i'll have to check this


the one sound i'll keep in this whole experiment is the solo sound

i may keep the rythm patch for rock sound, or layering...

i usulay like more aggresive sound with a bit more high mids

i'm working on getting a better drum sound, and I'll reamp the guitar parts with the 2.0 firmware and post it back in a few days (when i'm not working... damn...)

1) use advanced reply tab "go advanced"
2) bottome says manage attachments, click on this go to upload attachments do that voila

keep in mind that I play with no pick, so my setting may differ from yours,

I use a Ibanez UV77bk, and Mackie MR8 to monitor,
