6.01 - Thumbs up on global blocks now using Axe-Edit?

Thanks for 6.01 - sounds great and I see that the global block issue is resolved. Are we all clear to go back to saving with Axe Edit now for this and any other issues that were seen or should we wait on the next release?

Thanks again for the update!

Hopefully that does it...

Hopefully, but the release notes didn't mention it. Given that it seemed to corrupt the internals on a few units, I think I'll wait.

from release notes:

Fixed nasty bug where garbage data in Global Blocks could lead to preset corruption due to errant pointer.

Great that you pointed it out, so I can start with globals. Thank you.

BTW: Is the implementation of the global blocks in AE one of the more buggy functions or is it reliable and save?

That's were the bug was.
Does the corruption itself get fixed after updating to 6.01 and system reset, or is it possible for it to persist beyond that and require more drastic measures to wipe the memory? I'm experiencing some issues which is why I'm asking.

Can you save a block as global in Axe Edit? I see that the save/recall block feature is NOT for globals, so how do I use them in Axe-Edit?

Thanks.
