After the update that brings 4x4 USB audio, will it be possible to use the axe-fx as a generic 4 input audio interface?

I could get rid of my firebox if that were the case...
 
I think it was already possible before the update; the number of channels from Axe to computer didn't change. Place nothing but an FXL block in the last column and In 1L/1R/2L/2R will be the 4 channels when Main input source = Analog and USB/Digi Out source = Out 1. You could optionally process In 2 (but not In 1) by placing FXL earlier.
