Sorry prematurely posted. 1st post w a picture here. So I’m thinking of racking my FX8. My rig is modular and I can just take the FX8 w me on the fly.

My question is - if I run pre effects only (no 4CM) w my Switchblade- seeing as I can put any input or output together, if I’m running the FX8 in pre mode, but I put the FX8 behind the preamp in my switcher - is this not essentially 4cm? Am I missing out on something by not using the FX8s 4CM setup. Ie do the post effects sound better in 4CM - vw running pre effects only w a line mixer and routing the FX8 (in pre mode only)behind the amp?
