4CM Preset created in AX8 Edit but not showing effects blocks in AX8

I created and saved a simple 4CM preset in AX8 Edit:

Input>Comp>Wah>Drive>FX LOOP>Volume/Pan>Gate> Delay>Chorus>Reverb> Output

Works fine with my CA Triptik with some minor noise gate applied.

On the AX8 unit itself the blocks show up in the layout tab, but do not show up in the FS tab.
The 8 blocks are just blank.

I am new Ax8 and AXE 8 Edit user.
Longtime AXE FX II XL user.

Maybe I am doing something wrong here?

Did you set up the footswitches (manual p. 35)?

LOL. I am going to say No.
I just got the unit used a couple days ago. I did a factory reset, and then loaded in the Factory Cabs and have just been playing.
All the blocks show up in the FS tab on the factory presets.

EDIT---

OK- Read page 35. The footswitches must be in Per preset mode.
The blocks in the preset were the only effects that were available.
Got that setup.

Through trial and error I got the WAH pedal setup too, and then figured out the Auto-Engage. :D

All Good. Thanks!!

not all, just the ones they chose to put there. just to reiterate, the footswitch page is completely separate from the layout - you need to choose what you want, where you want, on the footswitch page.

You must be right.
I had more than 8 blocks so chose a couple to leave out that were always engaged.
