The 3rd party Midi spec (rev1.3 and previous) states that the scenename / presetname messages (0EH) and (0DH) will return a name with "32 characters of name"
Is this always the case? Is there any chance it could return a smaller "name"? I ask because I received a message which wasn't the correct length, checksum correct but it was missing 5 characters on a scenename response.
Message was received on logger as well as my software.
