3.5mm audio to AxeFx!

I modded a modeler… lol to send output audio via 3.5mm TRS jack from modeler and want to run it into my XL+ what’s the best way to do this and is there any settings in the AxeFx I/O that I need to change? The signal path is modded modeler output via 3.5mm jack which is a 3.5mm TRS Y cable and two 1/4 jacks lables ring/sleeve. Should this cable work and where should I plug them in the AxeFx? Thanks
 
Place it where you want it inserted.

If you're going to use it at the start then maybe Input 1 L/R on the back makes more sense?

Ok I’ll try that. My whole mission here is to play my Boss Waza Air headphones through the AxeFx (I modded them to have a 3.5mm audio out on them and I want to tonematch a patch that’s in the Waza Air. The guitar is plugged into the little Waza Air transceiver thing and the Headphones should out audio via that 3.5mm jack I haphazardly installed lol. Hopefully it’ll work :/
