Fixed 3.03 beta, foot switch labels go blank

3.03 beta, foot switch labels go blank, then reappear. Haven’t yet found any series of actions that cause this, it appears to be random. Happened after about two hours continuous use in a rehearsal. Audio and switching function were unaffected.

Having same issue and I imagine others (not reporting) are as well. For me, this occurs approximately in the duration of one of our sets, which would essentially mean I wouldn't be able to use the FM3.

Q1: Is this not a hardware issue?

Q2: Is this issue specific to a particular code version? i.e. Were/are there versions in which this issue did not occur?

Q3: Will this be addressed in Version 4.0, Beta or otherwise?

Q4: Best guestimates on when this would be addressed? Late summer 2021? Sometime in 2022?

We could not reproduce this issue exactly in house, but made changes that should be address it. The first build these changes are available in is 4.00 beta 2, which can be found here: https://forum.fractalaudio.com/threads/fm3-firmware-version-4-00-beta-2.173429/

I posted this in a 4.0 thread, but I am having a similar issue. I updated to Cygnus and when I am in perform mode, after switching between pages after a while, the screens will begin to blank out. It's usually because I have effects on one screen of the layout and when I switch back and forth between that and the scene page, eventually it blanks out. I was at band rehearsal last night and it did it again.

This should be fixed in the next beta release. Early testing by those who could reproduce very similar issues was quite promising.

This issue should be fixed in FM3 firmware 4.00. If the issue persists after updating, please let us know.
