1965 Vox 2x12 SM58 ir

So I played around with the second one too, and they kind of complement each other. I find #5 really useful for those chimey highs, while #8 is a bit more mellow. I use them blended with each other and other IRs, and sometimes only #5. Great stuff!
 
MAN!!!! That #5 is some chime heaven! It sounds awesome with my Tele....just need to try it at proper volume tomorrow. The day got away from me with holiday stuff and it got a bit late for me to really crank it up.....I got close, but not all the way there. It sounded EXCELLENT though!

Depends on the preset, really. I like to experiment a little. I generally use one stereo cab, panned 50% in most of my U2-presets. Some have two stereocabs. For example, my Streets-preset presently has two stereo-cabs, one with ML Class-A SM57 A1 and 65 VOX 212 58 8 panned 50%, and one with two 65 VOX 212 58 5. Sounds great to my ears, I also use two amps in this preset.

Right now, the #5 and 8# are dominating my AC30 presets, but I also blend them with other IRs from other packs (ML, OH, and some standalone IRs - including some cablab-fun).

Since my setup is FRFR (CLR-based PA) and amp+cab (GT1000FX + 2 NL212s), I try to tweak my presets to sound good with both setups. That means tweaking the amp and effects to sound good through the cabs, and then try to match this on my FRFR setup with the right IRs and maybe some EQ. These IRs from indeloon85 are great for that purpose.

Duuuude!!! Those sound amazing! You even got the chirp down, I really love how those turned out. Two thumbs up!
 
Finally got around to playing with these as well as the 1964 2x12. They sound really good...

The 1964 IR has now been added to my global cab used in all my presets in a pairing with the OH Bogner 2x12 Fane which is the only IR I have really bonded with in 2 years. :D Both have a similar sound, but compliment each other well.
