18+ firmware & EV-1/MFC -101 Mk III issues that I could use a hand with

Sweet, sweet fractal forum:
Since the 18FW upgrade (I've advanced recently to FW19 beta 'cus I had'ta) I've lost controllable connection from my EV-1 pedal thru my MFC 101 Mark III to my presets. Simply put - she no longer controls anything when moved on presets that worked like a charm previously.

Went through an update to the MFC firmware tonight hoping that would fix things - no luck. Re-calibrated the pedal -- the calibration went fine and the system recognized the pedal and movements but the problem of controlling preset continues. I'm using expression input 2 BTW (extern 2). Any thoughts/help would be appreciated.

What things are you trying to control? Did you set them up yourself before?

expression input 2 is not the same thing as "extern 2."

Are you editing via axe edit or the front panel of the Axe?

In the I/O CTRL menu on the Axe front panel, what are the numbers for External Control 1 and External Control 2?

On the MFC, in the Edit-MIDI menu, go to the page that says XP1 #010 Ch1 BegOff (some of the values may be different).

What is the number next to XP1 (my example says 010)? Press the Up switch on the right of the MFC to change that to XP2 - what number is there?
