16.01 Tubescreamers rule!

for the first time in the AxeFx I can say like the Tubescreamer drive blocks. There was always this overly "quacky" sound to them in the past. Now they sound awesome. Rad.

I actually like them better than my analog man modded ts808. The bb preamp is REALLY close to my real one.

I was never good at dialing in any type of dirt-box ....

I usually got ALL my overdrive/distortion from my Amps ....

Any help would be appreciated !

For high gain just use the tubescreamers as a boost. Crank the level to 10 and add possibly a little gain to taste. I use 0.3 gain, it adds a little character. And that's about it, everything else is stock. If you find it a little to grainy switch the clipping type to HV Tube. I prefer the HV Tube personally. Hope this helps.

At this point I. Dont look up how people use axefx blocks. I look up first how people use the real gear that's being modelled then go from there.
