10 Weeks In: FM3 / FC12 Review

Recently installed TRS ¼" Right Angle Cables for the EV-1s. The zip ties held things securely, was trying to think the chicken or the egg route. Dilemma solved.

Carpenter/woodworker brother visited Wednesday and assisted with finishing touches of the boards. Before brother arrived, the Duo 17 FM3 received 6/40 ⅜" gun screws with washers. The Duo 34 FC12 board required the XLRMOD inverting to bring upright. Also needed to remove existing EV-1 base screws, realign the EV-1s, and reattach added original screws for extra stability and firmer touch/release. Last point of business was reinstalling the cross-brace beneath the EV-1s.

I held my enthusiasm until the boards were finished, connected, and powered up. Yup. Lit up like an uptown NYC street.

Yep. We did our job. Finished up and had only a few things remaining before we called it a day. This thread has almost run its course. Will post additional information in the FM3 Discussion regards discoveries of new presets, or more efficient / CPU-saving techniques. Am always looking for streamlined and easier techniques, so will be watching Leon Todd's videos each week.
