This is probably a dumb question but I've been looking to finding a way to do this with no avail.

What I'm trying to do is, have 1 guitar going in and then having 2 outputs with each output having it's own distinct tone. For example on OUT1 you get a high gain tone and on OUT2 a clean tone. Do I have to fiddle with the I/O settings to do this?
Kinda like this:
AMP1 -> OUT1
