This started life as yet another Gilmour-esque type of thing but quickly grew into something a little larger in terms of effects and drives, etc. So, here for your late weekend delectation is my 'StratArena' for your enjoyment and general Stratty indulgence...
I'm a big fan of the HIWATT sound and Cliff's recent overhaul of the HIPOWER models is amazing and a real treat for me. So I've made a little preset to celebrate which I share with you. The video will tell the story. Thanks, Cliff!

Hi People!!!
For "The Sound of Gilmour" series, one year ago I tried to recreate the sound of David Gilmour from the album Echoes, with my AX8.
A few months ago I've re-make it also for Fractal Axe-Fx III. That's a really new version (named V3 version), not a FracTool conversion! ...and it...
Hi People!!!
For "The Sound of Gilmour" series, one year ago I tried to recreate the sound of David Gilmour from the album Echoes, with my AX8.
A few months ago I've re-make it also for Fractal Axe-Fx III, and in this days I realized the FM3 version (named V3.1).
The V3 version (for Axe-Fx III)...
Hey friends! 😊
Pink Floyd Time Guitar Solo
This is the first Pink Floyd Solo Cover I made. I know it's not the right guitar, it's not identical to the original by my choice. David Gilmour made the original in the record The Dark Side Of The Moon, I am Andrea Maccianti. Anyway, I hope you like...
By request for @fafakiwi. Wish You Were Here tones based on the info I could find on the Gilmourish site and my 70s-centric ears. 8 Scenes of fun that you should be able to use in all sorts of applications, really ... maybe with the exception of 'Radio' - Scene 5. Have fun. Tweak to taste, etc...
Hi People!!!
For "The Sound of Gilmour" series, one year ago I tried to recreate the sound of David Gilmour from the P.U.L.S.E. tour in the 1994, with my AX8.
In these days I've re-make it also for Fractal Axe-Fx III. That's a really new version (named V3 version), not a FracTool conversion...
Hi, just noodled over David Gilmour's songs and decided to make a tone for Castellorizon with my AX8. I think it's quite decent for the purpose, at least with a further tweaks. I played this with Les Paul that has quite soft pickups so in direct comparison the difference to crisp open single...
Hi People!!!
For "The Sound of Gilmour" series, one year ago I tried to recreate the sound of David Gilmour from the album The Wall, with my AX8.
In these days I've re-make it also for Fractal Axe-Fx III. That's a really new version (named V3 version), not a FracTool conversion! ...and it sounds...
Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb is one of my favorite songs of all time. It’s mysterious, beautiful and powerful, and it features one of the most iconic guitar solos ever by David Gilmour. Like many other guitar players, David was one of my biggest influences growing up, and I spent an incredible...
Just finished a new project.
About 40 years ago Pink Floyd came with this great song.

I've made a cover from the beautifull song On the turning away from Pink Floyd.
I Just play the electric guitar parts. This cover is not how it's original has been played, it's my own interpretation of this song. ( Just because i am not as near as good as Mister Gilmour himself)
For the preset...
For the series "The Sound of Gilmour" this time I tried to reproduce the Gilmour's sound from Echoes. I spent a lot of time to recreate the seagull effect. Gilmour do it with a Cry Baby with inverted cables... but with digital system there isn't possibile! So, after much time spent in research...

However, I'm not entirely certain how to share it with everyone. If you want to leave instructions for me, please do so! For now, I'll just manually type it... (if a parameter or EQ or something of the like is not listed, that means don't change it)

A pre-CBS Strat replica turned up at my place today. It's full of good parts, but the best are a set of Abby Ybarra CS '69's. Probably worth the price of the guitar itself. I figured they'd be cool to demo as they sound pretty amazing and might interest people. So I wrote a preset based around...
I thought it might be fun to pitch my two single-coiled Music Man guitars - 2016 Albert Lee and Cutlass - up against each other in a battle of the Floydish type. So I dragged out the old '98 Total Guitar backing track (see the vids for links) and gave 'em all I had.
I wrote a HIWATT / SLP...
I am a big fan of @Burgs . The playing is always smooth, his sounds are killer, and he often includes the patch.
Here I tried his recent Gilmour patch

Recently, my cover band got a request to play 'Don't stop...
Fate caused me to write myself a Dave Gilmour preset today. It's a pretty stripped back affair but it got the desired results for me, at least with this guitar. See what you think and tweak to suit.

Hello everyone. I've been searching endlessly for a way to create an elctric mistress flanger with my FX8. Everything I find is from years ago and all blocks/presets are for the AXE-FX and I can not see how the presets were created. Ultimatley, I'm looking to recreate the sound from David...
Anyone have any advice on how to get a tone similiar to the record? I've looked at Gilmourish and it just mentions going direct into the mixing desk and is double tracked. However, nothing I do seems to get close. I know any clean sound is satisfactory, but I'm genuinely interested in how one...
