How to GET feedback?

While it's not an instant (nor free) solution for right away, if you want truly controllable feedback, look into Sustainiac or Sustainer pickups. Got Sustainiac pickups in 2 of my guitars and they're an integral part of my playing. If you dig feedback, and would use it often, I highly recommend...

I haven't tried pressing it that many times - I stopped after a few presses. Apparently the 1.21 beta update was supposed to fix that "bad running status" thing but it won't download for me - tried in both IE and Firefox and the zipped file only contains the documents but no actual firmware.

Can someone advise how one can control the "Voice 1 harmony" value with an expression pedal, so that when the pedal is heel down the value is +3, and when toe-down it is +7. I've looked in the manual but must be missing something. My setup is actually using a Boss EV5 expression pedal connected...

I wouldn't call them sterile. I guess they don't colour the sound a great deal though. But they're very tight though and they don't turn to mud with very low frequencies like a lot of other pickups.

Kick arse :) I think the EMG's sound pretty good in that. I used to have some, but changed 'em for Lundgrens. If you're looking to change, those are worth considering - they're cool for low djenty-type stuff.

I agree. Def needs more bass. I don't have my good headphones at work but it sounds like there's a helluva lot of highs in there (ie, too much). I imagine one would get listener fatigue extremely quickly because of it.

Ok, so this is weird... It worked tonight for straight patch changing. Sometimes. Other times, it didn't. It seemed to need to "settle in" with the "Init" preset before going to the "Program Change" preset. The software seems temperamental at the moment. But at least I'm getting somewhere now...

this footswitch is amazing!!!

I haven't got mine to do anything yet :? I think there still needs to be a firmware update for the MIDI, if I'm correct.

Fireface 400

I use a Fireface 400. Have updated firmware 3 or 4 times so far. Never had a problem.

I like it. But I second the comment about the snare - maybe drop it down a shade. It draws the attention a little too much (not Metallica St. Anger much, but still :))

Axon AX 100 MKII Gtr Synth coming today....

Curious to hear how this ends up sounding. Been toying with the idea of adding a dedicated synth path as well. Thinking about getting one of these eventually (http://www.graphtech.com/product-351-2/) and some kind of synth, like the Axon.

Just got mine as well. My god, the thing is tiny :? I was expecting it to be bigger. It's really going to be a challenge getting separation between the pads. Definitely if I wanted to use a wah, I'd be using a separate expression pedal.

Re: Yeah, I started with one of those. Still have it (trying to sell it in Australia) but don't use it anymore. If I had of known I was going to get out playing live, I would have just gone with the Stealth Pro from the start.
