to go into DAW digitally, or not?

hey guys one wuick question! I usually record my Axe Fx through Spdif to Mbox2 to Pro Tools 8 My every session is in 44.1khz, as long i have Axe connected and powered on the Mbox does the conversion and in PT8 every thing sounds fine, but when i want to bounce the track everything goes to hell...

Standard and Ultra Firmware Version 9.00 Released

hi so i tried updating, downloaded the MidiOx software and the firmware for standard version. Everything starts great the program starts to transfer the fila, Axe starts to recieve it but an error always pops up saying somthing like there is an active file transfere beetween two units and this...

Axe FX and Mbox 2 digital output clicking problem!

hey, i hooked up my axe thrugh digital output and connected it to Mbox 2 on digital in! The sound is great but i also get this clicking soud once in a while and it mutes the signal, like the cable got disconnected and then connected again! Really anoying! So does anyone have any advice? Thanks

Axe -> M-box -> MacBook Pro -> Logic = disaster!!!! HELP

do you have any suggestions how should i connect the axe fx to mbox? Should i use XLR cables, balanced outputs or what? i'm pretty new to this and don't have all the hardware to experiment. Next week i'll be going to my friend again and will try to update the firmware and are there any more...

ok will try with the new firmware...but the status bars in logic where showing no signs of clipping! But guess it's some kind clipping inside the mbox!

So i was at my friend who had a Mac book pro running logic and we tried to hook up the Axe fx through the Mbox Usb. The sound was there, had a little latency issues but resolved it in the end. But the sound was really really awful, it was like plugging in a Metal zone direct to your sound card...

yeah i would appreciate it if it was the delay setting for the last solo of surrounded! Because i'm playing that song with my band and really don't think i have those effects nailed! If i get a chance i'll try to record it

Petrucci Surrounded delay settings

Hi I am trying to copy the delay settings and the sound that Petrucci has on Surrounded on the last solo! I set the delay to 250ms but really cant get that crazy repeating sound! It always feels that the delay is lacking some of the notes i play! Any suggestions? Thanks

H&K Swithblade MIDI footswitch FSM-432 and Axe FX

hey, well i tried the pedal connected to the Switchblade just to power it than a midi cable from the head to Axe to see if it works, and i worked perfect! The problem is that the cable is soldered inside the pedal, so i cant replace it so easily, i would have to open the whole pedal, then...
