So true! I'm so glad that band that I was in "pre-AXE-FX" had been isolating amps in a different room so I got used to hearing myself only through floor monitors. This made the switch to the AXE quite easy (and that was actually using an Ultra).

Ah! I get it! Like I had to do to the end of my chain when I was running a delay block in parallel with my dry signal before I realized that I should just set the delay block to 100% wet. ;)... so I guess that's yet another answer to the "silly things I've done" question.

Wouldn't L+R=Left only if there was nothing "on the right" (that whole L+0=L, zero is the additive identity thing)? Does L+R actually mean (L+R)/2 (average) so as not to boost the signal to what would essentially be a double-hot input level? Based on the original post, apparently so :). Anyway...

Speaker Resonance Controls

That's one of the great things about the x/y settings... Copy x-->y and tweak y, then compare to the untweaked x to see what the settings do. I didn't know what I was listening for, now I've graduated to "slight understanding."

When editing the amp from the edit menu, move the cursor to the (I believe) the drive and bright parameters, pressing the enter button on these parameters toggles on and off for drive and boost respectively.

On what I read in the floor controllers comparison http://axefxwiki.guitarlogic.org/images/0/09/Floor_controllers_8.jpg this does not display the tuner. I would really prefer to not run a separate tuner. If I can get the tuner through the GCP then I would definately be up for it :)
