    Only on clean tones. It makes them pop. Tones with gain are already compressed, so to speak, so I just give them a clean boost.

    Yes, but the hose is just a means to achieve a parameter. Sound is being sent through the hose. The length of the hose dictates the delay time. Just reading up on this, it can achieve 14ms, 16ms or combined 30ms delay.:wink:

    I pre Eq before the amp block. FET Boost, low cut set 100 hi cut 5k to 7k range. Gain 5 or 6, level 5 or 6, all else default. Stock IR's. Just audition until I hear what I like, and then just adjust the amp to fine tune. If the IR has too much low-end or highs, I just move along to the next one.

    Then the static is coming in along with the guitar signal. The Input gate just opens and closes with signal, I'm pretty sure it doesn't process the signal. Any dimmer switches, fluorescent lights, routers, monitors in the general area? Bad cable?

    That vid you linked is quad tracked and eq'd into a mix. I'd bet if you isolated a single track, it wouldn't be too far off from what you're getting.

    Love this addition. Amp fizz is a complicated relationship. Without it, the lower strings lose presence and clarity. With it, the higher strings sound like a dying mosquito.

    What this really proves is how different the same guitar sounds between players. Tim gets a snap and a clarity while Rhett sounds more mellow and less defined. Could be the choice of plectrum, technique, or both.

    If increasing the negative feedback in the P.A. , it starts this weird low freq. oscillation. Neg. feedback on 10 just makes it jitter non-stop. Seems to only happen on that S.I.C. regardless of amp used. I know "don't do that", just messing around and noticed it.

    You're overthinking this. Just run guitar volume wide open and use the expression as a volume pedal. If the guitars vol and tone potentiometer are wide open, no high end is going to ground. The expression pedal controls the signal going to the front of the amp sim without any high end roll off.

    Keystone was a pipeline to transport Canadian oil (tar sands) to the Gulf of Mexico. Canada's oil to sell, we still would have had to buy it from them. That pipeline was originally slated to go through British Columbia. B.C. told them to F'off after they learned keystones leaky record.

    Very nice! spot on. Just 1 recommendation, Eddie used to detune the B string slightly. Makes the major 3rd double stops on the B and G string sound more in tune.

    Part of it could be the custom cab with V30's. IIRC the original D60 cab came loaded with Eminence P50e's, later with Fanes. Every time I hear this amp it sounds different depending on the cab it's going through. Great sound regardless.
