My Dell laptop running WinXP has this same issue.....sorry!?!?!?!? anything populating a grid space(amp or effect) when clicked.... pages are correct and functional but "Effect Type" doesn't populate and up/down arrows allow one click either up or down.....and drive will only select Rat Dist...

Tutorial for updating MFC 101 Firmware via Midi Ox on Windows 7?

I just had luck using AXEII as midi device,axe edit open but sending the sysex with MIDIOX (256/15,128/16,check "delay after f7") Only had MFC midi in cabled to AXEII midi out,unplugged 8 pin/ethernet and used power supply pretty much just like YEK told me too.....axe edit probably didn't need...

I made sure to have everything routing as if I was actually plugging into the AXEII,so the panel 1/4" is TRS just like the Humbuster outputs.I double checked with Fractal on this too.

Weird.We just fixed a problem at work,we have had stray voltage (20ish volts) that you can feel when touching equipment.So we spent 5K grounding/bonding the f outta everything.That didn't help.Turns out the power company had lost a ground wire from a pole 100 yards away in a swamp and it was...

Active Pickups - My Theory

I played through EMG's(85,81,707,808) for 20 yrs w/tube and solid state preamps.With my 8 string I replaced EMG808's w/Lundgrens and I'm never going back. Why? IMO ...Fuller,warmer,more dynamic and versatile, which the AXE-II excels in also my $.02 Cheers!

AXEFXII, FRFR and WoooomF :)

I've been using the new EQ in the amp for this,quick and easy.With my Ultra I just used the Global eq to dial in my AtomicFR/FR's,but not all presets required it IMO.

How long time wise does it take to update to 1.04

AxeII uses Midi,just through the USB cable not traditional midi cable,so no midi interface needed.Just need to set it up in AxeEdit and it works.USBMidi on the II has worked flawlessly on Windows7 for AxeEdit and firmware upgrades.So yes you are correct!

Is it normal to have my global input set to about 12% (down from 50%)?

my INSTR IN is at 50%.Lundgren pups,hitting red leds occasionally. my OUT 1 clipped w/presets til I turned down some levels but no input clipping.I thought the unity gain input took care of input clipping(within reason) and the soft knobbers are for trim?

Mott- to be honest this sounds not the best way to accomplish this.If this is for live or rehearsal it's gonna be way off compared to your reference monitor volumes. IMO, dig into your patches to see whats actually happening(clipping?),are you using any compression etc? Good Luck!

CHECKSUM ERRORS!!!

Tad- I have similar reoccurring bad check sum sysex transfers all the time with my Midisport UNO.Reinstalled UNO drivers,MIDI tests out just can't transfer/audition presets. It will work one day and not the next. Currently using AxeEdit w/these settings to no avail Midi Buffer Size 60 Midi...

Just received my Atomic Reactor Passive and ....

Just received my Atomic Reactor Passive and ....

Sounds like a eq issue.I had a similar thing happen(only on certain patches) with my powered Atomic FR/FR's.There is a thread here somewhere with some global eq settings that are a great starting point. I attribute it to the Full range effect :?:

MFC 101 = AWESOME

barefoot is kinda a problem IMO,the switch heads are small compared to my old ground control and I thought about saying something but......build up some callouses on yer feet!maybe a pair of Fractal slippers? :lol: otherwise the MFC-101 is f'n awesome! :twisted: The "stepped" design makes...
