    You mention when playing an mp3 via usb it mixes into the axe-fx output. Does it always do this ? Eg if I play along in Reaper to a backing track and record, does it only record the merged sound or can I just record the 'guitar' track Good to hear it hooks up nicely with Reaper.

    Well, it's Axe-Fx II then. G66's #1 is pretty conclusive in saying that. ie Is the Axe-fx ultra still the best processor. No, there is something newer now. Maybe it isn't 'faster', but it will be 'better'

    Glad this will come in use to some people. Just thought I'd add that my global EQ has the lowest frequency (on far left, can't remember the exact number) set to -5. Also in the vid I use a 'real' Dunlop wah into the front of the axe. Never got around to getting a mission pedal.
