No more Axe-Fx II signal in Reaper

Sorry for my bad English, my previous post may be confusing. What I mean is, set you project in Reaper to 48 kHz. The AXE-FX has a fixed sample rate by 48 kHz, if the project uses another sample rate, may be no signal will received. I don't know Reaper, but in Cubase it's the same.

I think the focus is on stage, not on studio, like all the other floor boards too. Would make sense, IMO. Is also a question of price, to be competitive. For studio stuff we have the AXE-FX!

My speculation: The AX8 is not an AXE-FX and not a FX8. The amps, cabs and effects are reduced to that, what the cheaper processors can handle. Thats totally OK for a floor unit. I guess the price will be about twice that of POD HD500 or a little more. This would be the price to consider...

Here a little demo of the phantastic cab sim of a blonde VOX with Blue Bulldogs speakers. At the German Axe-Fest I was blown away by this amp. It's a VOX TB, slightly modified, with the "Vox AC30 Blue TLM103 N", shooted at the German AXE-Fest 2014 in Daxweiler. This is truly a killer cab.

Of course, the listeners have to trigger only, when after a change the sliders stands still a defined time and no transfer is in progress. To many or double transfers may ends in a crash. But for sure know that Cliff and his team ;)

Volume boost in live setting

Nice idea. I'm using a null filter block (boost between 2 and 4 db, depending on the audible output) or a X/Y amp setting with different settings, the Y is set to be louder. It works fine, but the GEQ is worth a try.

I cannot hear brittle on V8. The second sounds much better to me. I'm using monitors Yamaha HS80M, all switches on flat. Try to reduce the highcut frequency in the advanced amp tap. I put it often between 7k and 8k, but mostly in high gain apms. On the cleans use it careful, may be, you loose...
