Axe-Fx II USB Setup for OS X – 2023 Version

It looks like they updated the USB drivers for Mac OS X recently. I was just wondering what improvements were made. I’ve been having some issues with recording through USB using an M1 Mac mini going into GarageBand.

Trying to install USB drivers for Axe-Fx II mark one on a M1 Mac

I'm trying to install a USB drivers for the Axe-Fx II on my M1 Mac mini with no luck. It says, “Fractal Audio Axe-Fx II USB Driver.pkg” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. I'm new to MacOS. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Amp blocks processing?

Will the Axe-Fx III have a dedicated processor for the amp blocks? This response from Cliff has me thinking,no. But I could be wrong.

New compact midi controller from RJM!

The new Mastermind LT looks like a compact but powerful midi controller. Here's a video about setting it up. This would be great for people that need something small but versatile to control their rig.

Remember back in the 80's when excess was the norm and some of our guitar heroes had these monster rigs of doom. They had those refrigerator sized racks loaded with multi-amps, effects processors, pedals, routing and switching systems made custom for them from rig gurus such as Bob Bradshaw...

Tape chorus and flanger...

I havent updated my Axe (it's currently at the rehearsal studio) yet. It's new for ver. 7.00 and was wanting to know what its like from the people that have given them a 'test drive'.

Add the Boss DS-1 and Keeley modded DS-1

Boss DS-1 and Keeley modded DS-1 to be added to the roster. Countless artist including Steve Vai and Joe Satriani use this pedal to get great sustaining distortion for over the top leads. These are iconic distortion pedals that definitely deserve their place in the Axe-Fx.

Taper presets for wah freq parameter

Taper presets for wah freq like the Vol block has(Log A, Log B, etc.). It would make it easier to get the expression pedal to behave like a wah.
