Ah great to hear man and yes : that 57+421 has been the doubting IR for me !! They both sound awesome and the 421 has a bit more aggressive mids highs to it which I also like but settles for the 121 mix for now….! Enjoy 💪🏼💫

In the Cab block and on BOTH pages of the Cab block…… if you play alone, it can feel a bit strange missing the low and highs….. but in the band mix : perfect :)

YES Joshua , my favorite ones are coming from this new pack now……. Since Ownhammer updated their workflow, the IR quality became better so the GNR IRs are just a little less than this Classic Rock pack.. I can imagine it gets a bit confusing because there are so many packs now in the Revolution...

I understand my friend , that’s why I always stick to this one IR from most of their packs : OH1-05 number….. used to be the SM57+R121 mix…… in their new pack I went to the Classic Rock Pack and setttled with the 57+421 mic pair. Anyhow, York and others have great IRs too if less options needed :)

Marshall Plexi my friend ! All you need is your volume knob to go from clean to dirty and all in between. I use the Plexi 50W 6CA7 in the FM3 and for bigger gigs the real Marshall 1987x…… check this out :

I havent played in this configuration but try also to go with a Humbuster cable from the Load to FM3 input.....I don't think the Humbuster matters from the FM3 out to Power amp. I personally did try the w/d/w thing through my studio sound card.....and compared it with going Amp signal through...

Dealing with No Analog Dry thru

I did try this Analog Dry Through idea too.......I play with a Tube amp sometimes and add the Cab IR in the FM3 and use it for some Delays / Reverbs......the hassle of extra cables / devices to get an ADT was not worth it for me...loosing signal and stuff....compared to the 'Dry' signal going...

Yes, the professionally released have awesome reverbs on the guitars while his rig does not have any….. many guitar player do this I guess…. No mud on stage and FOH can add reverbs to taste….

Depending on the song / parts : Lead overdriven always MultiDelays with Diffusion adding the 'reverb like' tones.....this creates a 'Delays + Reverb' style sound.....cleans and carpet like chords : Plex Verb ! So, NO delays & Reverb blocks ;)

I understand that it s confusing.....your question was just answered in the next post below ours, so no need for me to explain that more... I personally don't see any use of having them as Fractal already supplied us with many great 'curves'...each fitting to the right brand of Amp...

I personally think there is a very very subtle difference between the Suhr & Fractal load box.....but if that is important, lets have it then ;) Here is a little video I did with both load boxes....and I still have the Suhr :)

FM3 still worth it? Few questions.

You definitely should man , there is nothing out there what beats it.....and I have gone through the whole AXE III part too...just too much for my simple needs....1 patch with a Drive block - Plexi 50 amp - Cab , a Plex Delay block for Delays and reverbs and a Pitch Block and I do everything...

Gibson LP Comparison : Murphy Lab - Heritage - PreHistoric !

Hi Gentz ! I did a comparison with my own and 2 other Gibson LP guitars from friends ......In this price range , difference is hard to tell I guess....Looks like the more expensive the Guitars , the less big difference we get with the cheaper ones...Anyhow, let me know if you have a great Gibson...

It is all fine man , even without the YT compression, the difference it very very subtle so either way , you are set :)

Just in case ...I did make a video with these 2 units...very very close to each other...I went for the Suhr because it just felt better 'reactive' and did not have a little of that very high end 'fizz'....but someone else might not even hear it , so just go for the one that feels better to...

Thanks a lot Andy ! Yes I have to admit that these are something different than other LP and a good attempt but not towards the old good specs.....sound wise, this guitars also has something, can't put my fingers on it yet...feels a bit flat , relaxed..perhaps the 0.10 strings as I am used to...
