V10 Firmware

I like what I hear so far!!! Just a heads up... I was testing all the V10 presets in Bank A and couldn't understand why there was no sound on the 59 Bassguy preset (001)--turns out there is a FXL block where the Phaser block is on the other patches. I swapped in a Phaser block and all is good...

I don't know where to start--the factory presets sound soooo good!! Is it me or do the AC15 and AC30 sound much better? Oh, and the JCM800 and Friedman BE--totally awesome!! Gotta go play some more now....Giggity!

I was looking at the white as the position marker because it seemed so prominent--I could be wrong. All I know is that when the switch is lined up with "MIC" name label, it WILL DEFINITELY rattle your teeth!!

RCF NX12-SMA

My RCF 12NX arrived today also and I am really, really happy. The build quality is fantastic! Very clear and loud--and it's awesome to hear the patches the way they are supposed to sound!! BTW, Mike @ Audiopyle has the 12nx covers in stock :-)

TeeJay, Which physical IA switches are you referring to with SW5 and SW6, since the LF Jr. only has the 4 IA's in 4 button mode? Or am I really missing something here? BTW, thank you so much for the detailed layout--great info for a noob!

Any LF power users have tips on the best way to use the LF tuner accurately? It works, but it seems to jump around a bit. I've tried the neck and bridge only pickups, with and without a pick. FWIW, my other tuner is a Peterson... Thanks!

That sounds very cool--kind of like the Boss/Digitech modeling boards where the pedal is used for volume until you engage the wah. I think that is what I envisioned when I first was this pedal until it was clarified to me. Also nice since you would only need 1 pedal for 2 functions...

Sorry for the stupid noob question, but is the benefit of this pedal the ability to use it for 2 functions? I.e. volume/expression pedal AND wah-wah when you engage the switch? I have the HEX right now and it only controls the wah right now w/ auto engage. Thanks in advance.

Dohh!! I figured it out...you have to select a tempo other than "none" i.e. 1 or 1/8 dot, etc. in the preset edit for it to work. Thanks for help..er, umm, letting me help myself. Yeah, thats it!! :mrgreen:

Midimate with axe...question/problem.

Sorry for the noob question, but I have searched the WIKI and manual and I can't seem to find where to set the "preset" tempo. I'm trying to use the tap tempo to set the tremolo tempo/rate--I see the tempo light change with the taps but it only seem to affect the delay and not the tremolo...
