We have already done that and spoken on the phone. The problem is I sent the amp in on an RMA after the call and it has been 2 1/2 weeks with no replies to a couple of emails I sent to verify he got it etc. (tracking shows it was delivered). I would like to get it back obviously.

Austin Buddy Gold Pak and Wah Settings

I think that was why Austin Buddy in his video shows setting the Ext 1 and 2 at 100% in settings, so people would not have to edit every preset. But it did not work and I don't yet see why.

I just installed the Gold Pak on my FM3 and have Ext 1 and 2 set at 100% in Setup/Midi Remote on the FM3 as instructed in ABs YT video. I have a spring loaded wah. All the presets show the wah on in Fm3 Edit and they are all on when I play. How to make the wahs auto engage with the Gold Pak?

Favorite Multi-effect Pedal to Pair up with your FM3

An hx effects looks like a great pairing to an FM 3 to me. Midi capable. 6 switches. Good effects for live easily. That's my plan when my number comes up. The hx works great with a real amp in 4 cable also.

Yep, contact spray and reseated it a few times. I have been in contact with Fractal support and given the symptoms they think it is most likely the display itself. I can still read it but it is not like it was before. I wish axe edit had access to all the parameters. I rarely change anything live.

My axe 2 works great along with my mfc 101. But the contrast on the LCD has gone low even with contrast set to max. Fractal has no LCD s for these and the LCD is a custom part so I can't order a replacement from the LCD mfr. Is there any PC based software that allows us to see all the settings...

Bought an Axe-Fx 2 ... and it's fried

Glad to see it was fixable. These units sound great. Anyone have a unrepairable gen 1 axe 2? I need an LCD screen as the contrast is low on mine and fractal has no replacement LCD screens and it is a custom part so it can't be bought.

That sounds really good. Some people report running out if dsp on the FM3 so it seems to me offloading some effects into the hx and gaining more switches is a good thing. I don't have an FM3 yet so.... But sure is nice to know this is a possibility.

Yeah, no matter how it is adjusted it does not work right anymore. There is some text visibility at 100% contrast and reduces with lower values, the pic does not show it though as the text is so faint the camera does not pick it up.

My AxeFX II is dying... soooo bummed :( (USB plugged into MFC most likely why)

I think it was recorded with a Fender amp over driven some, HB guitar on bridge pup with tone rolled down/off on guitar and a parked wah close to toe down. I got really close to that tone with a a BJF pink purple fuzz set very low gain (I never should have sold that pedal) and an old Princeton...

Tone Match... how is it implemented?

I am looking forward to this. I have a bunch of the IR's from the Aura and am really curious if using a tone match block of my recorded acoustic and perhaps some parallel routing etc could sound like my guitar nicely miced in a studio for live use with much less feedback issues. My best...

Tone Match... how is it implemented?

I wonder how tone match could work for my Martin dread. I assume I could record it via good condenser and pre and use a tone match block and the k&k minis live?

Thanks for the info Patzag. In my case there is still output, just much lower so I don't think it is a bypass comand but if it happens again I will check that.

Sometime the volume drops to almost inaudible while playing. It may only happen while using wah, I don't think I have noticed it occurring otherwise. I have to reboot the Axe to fix it, changing to another patch etc does not bring the volume back to normal. SW Ver 5.07, Axedit is running via...
