    Mesa MKIIC+ 4CM vs USA IIC+ Deep

The volume disparity and wildness are at least partially the fault of me pulling out the amp's lead bright at a lower volume, and then when I turned up the master it was much more noticeable and louder. My fault. I used my ears to try and get the sounds similar, but the change in master volume...

    4CM snake

The first cable in 4CM is your guitar to FX8 cable, so that doesn't count in the snake. The FX8 out to amp input and FX8 out to amp FX return should be humbusters. The out from amp FX send to FX8 post in should be TS. You may or may not be able to use relays from the FX8 to switch channels on...

    4CM snake

They don't make snake cable in single pair increments. The next size up is an 8 pair. You could add a single balanced line cable and use braided shield for the whole assembly. Or use MIDI with an RJM Gizmo to control your amp.

    4CM snake

No. TGS-04 specs out better than Mogami 2931, in terms of capacitance and resistance. This is studio snake cable designed for low noise and coloration. If anything I would like a heavier gauge for mechanical strength, but no issues at all with moving electrons.
  36. killerburst

    4CM snake

No. Humbusters are useful for the FX8 outputs only. The ring connector would have no effect on the POST input unless the amp send was also balanced.
