AXE FXIII MKII -I switch to FM 9!

I went from a III to an FM9 and I haven't noticed any differences between any of my presets that I created on my III to the FM9. I don't create super complicated presets so it was a seamless transition for me.

Axe FX too overkill for bedroom only playing?

Honestly, anything could be considered overkill for bedroom playing. A 50-watt or 100-watt amp is overkill for a bedroom too. Plug-ins have just as many features, if not more, than anything mentioned. Just find the gear that provides inspiration...overkill or not. I probably only use a tenth of...

Exactly! I have never gone down the IR rathole as your presets contain your IRs. They are fantastic! I used to have the Kemper and I would use yours exclusively for recording as well. I think too much emphasis can be placed on the amp. I think the IR is about as important as anything in the...
